Collectors Item. This piece comes from the beautiful village of Vallauris in the hills behind Antibes in France on the French Riviera (Close to my old home town ). Pottery & Ceramics have been made there since ancient times and the region is widely renowned as the centre for pottery & ceramics worldwide and was even home to one of Picasso’s studios in the late 1940’s where he made his own collection of ceramics.
